Honorary PresidentHuo Zhenhuan

Mr. Huo Zhenhuan, born in Panyu, Guangdong Province, holds a master's degree. Now he is the Honorary President of the Cheung Kong International Chamber of Commerce, the Vice President of the China Non-Government Chamber of Commerce, and the Chief Executive Officer of Fok Ying Tung Group in Hong Kong. Deputy of the 11th, 12th and 13th National People's Congress, Vice President of the 10th All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Vice President of China Overseas Association, Forever Honorary President of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Hong Kong Pui Hua Education Foundation.



Mr. Fok is the second son of Dr. Fok Ying-tung. Born in Hong Kong in 1949, he received his early education in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and Canada. He graduated from the University of British Columbia in Canada with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration. Mr Fok took the REINS after the death of his father, Henry Fok.

In terms of business philosophy, Mr. Fok believes that an outstanding business leader should be courageous, stubborn, willing to take responsibility, clear in his vision, capable of understanding people and working as a team. He can't just do one thing, he can change with The Times, and more importantly, he should learn all his life.

In terms of social welfare, through the Fok Ying Tung Foundation, Mr. Fok made the first donation of HK $30 million to HKUST in 2003, and a further donation of HK $800 million to HKUST in 2005 to support HKUST's development as a global academic leader. Huo Zhenhuan is also very concerned about the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Open University of Hong Kong, the University of Macau, Guangzhou Jinan University and many other universities, and often spends huge sums of money to give strong support.

In terms of personal influence, Mr Fok is also an enthusiastic public servant who supports China's reform and opening up through the Fok Ying Tung Foundation and the Pui Wah Education Foundation. At the same time, Mr. Huo Zhenhuan likes sports, especially martial arts, tennis, skiing and other activities.
