On November 20, 2016, YRIC held the Fourth Wine Salon and Honorary President Ms. Florence Fang Reception Luncheon in Run Tianyuan Hotel. YRIC Executive President, Peking University Hubei Alumni Association President Mr. Liu Meng, Overseas Affairs Office of Wuhan Municipal Government Director Mr. An Weidong, the former inspector and deputy minister of Wuhan Municipal Committee United Front Work Department Mr. Wang Haiying, Chairman of the American Chutian Group, Us-China Culture & Communication Association President Mr. Song Min, and the General Manager of the Xiamen Jianfa International Wine Group Mr. Qi Yujun  and Peking University Hubei Alumni Association Vice President Wu Huaiping, Huang Yong, Yang Yuli, Han Xiaoguang, Xu Feng, Liu Chongzhongas well as nearly fifty people including Peking University Alumni and members of YRIC attended the activity.

Honorary President of YRIC Ms. Florence Fang supports the global development of YRIC  and she said that every time she carefully read the YRIC public Wechat News to pay attention to the development of YRIC. She praised YRIC had make great achievements to set up 8 chambers of commerce since established two years ago, which fully showed the pioneering spirit to promote the Hubei economic development. "Rejuvenate China" was put forward by Mr. Sun Zhongshan, and shouted out once again by the 1980s. Ms. Florence Fang came back to the motherland this time to celebrate the 150 anniversary of the birth of Mr. Sun Zhongshan.

Without the Revolution of 1911 in Wuhan, there would be no new China, the rise of China,  the rejuvenation of China or the Chinese dream. Honorary President of YRIC Ms. Florence Fang 's speech aroused a strong resonance YRIC members and Peking University Alumni  with a thunderous applause.

Mr. Liu Meng said in a welcoming speech, as a famous entrepreneur, educator, social activist and philanthropist Ms. Florence Fang is not only a model for our cause, a patriotic example, and also an idol. At the same time, her three outstanding characteristics and connotation, namely height, elegance and perseverance to become the model of the younger generation. Especially the perseverance spirit of her and two other founding honorary presidents of YRIC Mr. Li ka-shing and Mr. Maurice. R. Greenberg has been always inspiring Mr. Liu Meng， all the members of YRIC and Peking University Alumni to do forward bravely in life.

Overseas Affairs Office of Wuhan Municipal Government Director Mr. An Weidong said at the event he was impressed with the two merits of Ms. Florence Fang: the first point was her patriotism and the second point was her love for hometown. She is not only the  witness of our city's change and development , a builder, and is our country overseas  propagandist.

Then, The former inspector and deputy minister of Wuhan Municipal Committee United Front Work Department Mr. Wang Haiying shared many touching stories of Ms. Florence Fang including submitting a protest to the emperor of Japan, receiving thousands of Japanese intimidation and creating the first overseas Anti-Japanese War Memorial, which fully reflect her deep patriotism and striving spirit.

Subsequently, Peking University Hubei Alumni Association director, the Wuhan Planning Exhibition Hall curator Hu Yidong presented a Sun Zhongshan "Nation Building Strategy · Wuhan" bamboo to Ms. Florence Fang. The curator Hu Yidong said Ms. Florence Fang's patriotic feelings touched us, affected us, and Mr. Sun Zhongshan have a deep relationship with Wuhan. Ms. Florence Fang gave an autographed "Sun Zhongshan and the Youth Chinese" to the Wuhan Planning Exhibition Hall, and curator Hu Yidong said the book would be permanently preserved in the Planning Museum as memories of Wuhan.
